About the artist:
It was the discovery copper and its amazing workability that started Katherine Keywood off in the creation of multi-media collage work.
Touchable art is Katherine’s goal, and, in her work, she uses materials from the environment, such as hand-made paper, pieces from nature, interesting trinkets and embossed and stressed copper.
Katherine‘s background is diverse and includes working in lab science, ornamental horticulture, carpentry and fine art. She loves the construction of pieces. Consequently, her favorite tools are the electric screwdriver and drill!
Katherine has lived in some colorful and inspiring places, including New Mexico, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and now Spain.
